Checking Accounts for Teens

Checking accounts that prepare them for what's next

A teen checking account with a debit card and mobile banking is often the first step toward financial independence. Peace of mind comes when selecting a local team, like Washington Financial Bank, who cares about their financial wellbeing. Teen Checking1 helps parents guide their teen toward smart money habits while giving real-world banking experience, all with no monthly fees, no overdraft fees, and no minimum balance requirements. At age 16, they can choose to upgrade to a Teen Checking+ Account2, offering higher daily limits and the option to move forward without a parent on the account. At 18, both Teen Checking accounts seamlessly transition to Rebellion Cash Back Checking, supporting the next stage of their financial journey with confidence.
